Major Crash on Highway 59

A fatal three-vehicle collision Tuesday on Highway 59 northbound at County Road 221 resulted in a closure for several hours. One casualty has been reported, with identity withheld pending family notification. Traffic was rerouted due to debris, with TXDOT and local fire departments managing the scene. Delays continued for an additional hour.

In Rosenberg, authorities seek a missing teenage girl. Amy Boudreaux, 15, disappeared Monday morning near Cedar Road by Highway 36 and the Southwest Freeway. Described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, 110 pounds, with blue eyes, brown hair, and a scar on her left shoulder. Anyone with information is asked to contact Rosenberg Police Department.

Suspect Arrested

Last week, authorities in Lavaca County apprehended a suspect in an ongoing case. Andres Almazan stands accused of Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child under 14. The initial report dates back to September 2008. Currently, he is detained at the Lavaca County Jail with a bond set at $250,000.

Suspect Faces Charges

In Victoria County, deputies apprehended a 22-year-old individual on Monday. Identified as Joe Villarreal, the suspect faces charges of Burglary of a Home and Burglary of a Home with Intent for another Felony. Presently, he resides in the Victoria County Jail with a bond set at $90,000.

Two Arrested

El Campo Police detained two suspects last Wednesday. Chad McMillian, 36, faces charges including Aggravated Assault with a Weapon and is held at Wharton County Jail on a $72,500 bond. Shayna Cook, 34, also charged with Aggravated Assault with a Weapon, is in the same jail with a $50,000 bond.
