Victoria woman arrested

Deputies arrested 34 year old Priscilla Nicole Rodriguez of Victoria Wednesday on suspicion of assaulting a family member in a manner that impeded either breathing or circulation, as well as on warrants charging her with property theft between $100-$750 and criminal trespassing. Rodriguez remained jailed Wednesday with bail totaling $8,000.

Interim police chief selected in Victoria

Formosa Religious Trust Fund issues Grants

Formosa Plastics Religious Trust Fund 2022 Grants totaling $30,700 were distributed to 23 separate religious based organizations this month during a luncheon held at the Formosa Plastics Guest House in Point Comfort, Texas. The Trust Fund has been in place for 27 years and provides grants to religious organizations in Calhoun, Jackson and Victoria counties.
