Truck flips on FM 102

An 18-wheeler hauling sod slid off the road and flipped over earlier this week on FM 102. The driver apparently allowed the trailer portion to slip into the grassy area causing it to flip onto the trailer’s back. The road was closed for cleanup and removal of the truck. Council drops tax rate 3¢

A unanimous 6-0 vote Thursday lowered the City of El Campo’s tax rate almost three cents.
