Meth Distribution Bust

In Corpus Christi, two residents, Jason Talley and Crystal Samora have confessed to planning to distribute 50+ grams of meth. They were stopped in Victoria on March 14th for tailing another car. Wharton police recently apprehended Gerren Royce Farris on multiple drug charges. He’s facing a total of four charges, with three directly linked to drug-related activities. Interestingly, even while behind bars, Farris was found to be in possession of additional narcotics.

Mayor Indicted for Abuse

In Fort Bend County, Mayor Darryl Humphrey of Kendleton faces new charges. He was arrested for abusing his role, allegedly imposing unlawful water and sewer fees on an RV park owner. This comes in addition to his previous indictment for denying a public info request from the same park owner.
