YMCA After-School Registration

Bay City ISD and the YMCA have teamed up to offer after-school programs for Pre-K through 5th-grade kids. Registration began Monday.The cost is $60 registration fee per child and a weekly rate of $60. The partnership aims to give students access to various resources like physical activities, academic support, and personal growth opportunities.

Wharton County Cybersecurity Plan

Wharton County has plans to boost cybersecurity by summer. They’re set to discuss joining the 2024 Cybersecurity Training by Texas Association of Counties at this morning’s meeting. The aim is to train all county staff by June 14 of next year.

Sexual Assault of a Minor

Caleb Joshua Moreno of El Campo, known for his social media news site, was arrested for sexual assault of a minor. He faces multiple charges, including online solicitation and harboring a runaway child. Additional charges could lead to a life sentence. His total bond is $515,000.

Movie Night Rescheduled
