Stalking Suspect

Rafael Govea Romero, charged with the murder of 16-year-old Lizbeth Medina of Edna, showed signs of stalking her before the incident. Surveillance footage from Lizbeth’s apartment complex showed Romero’s presence the night before her death. After her death on Dec. 5th, police released photos of Romero fleeing the scene in a silver Ford Taurus.
