Karley Found After Alert

The search for a missing 13-year-old girl is over. Karley Smart, the subject of an Amber Alert, was found hours after last seen near her home. Mayoral Candidates Forum

The Victoria Chamber of Commerce and the Victoria Advocate are hosting a Q&A session for the six mayoral candidates. City Council Plans Update

Victoria City Council is making progress on their 2035 plan, with 16 of 43 goals achieved, including a downtown master plan and a public safety HQ. They’re now preparing for the next phase from 2024-2026. They’ve also applied for a waste management grant and announced voting precincts for the upcoming mayoral election.

LCRA Grants

The Lower Colorado River Authority is giving away grants of up to $50,000 for community projects like helping first responders. Nonprofits, schools, and civic groups can apply.
