Wharton police recently apprehended Gerren Royce Farris on multiple drug charges. He’s facing a total of four charges, with three directly linked to drug-related activities. Interestingly, even while behind bars, Farris was found to be in possession of additional narcotics.
In Fort Bend County, Mayor Darryl Humphrey of Kendleton faces new charges. He was arrested for abusing his role, allegedly imposing unlawful water and sewer fees on an RV park owner. This comes in addition to his previous indictment for denying a public info request from the same park owner.
