A 14-year-old student has been detained for a felony terroristic threat at Bay City Junior High School. Bay City ISD Police Department assisted in the investigation and it appears the suspect acted alone. This incident is unrelated to bomb threats last week. Arrested following a house fire

In Ganado, a man was arrested following a house fire on Monday. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene on Fairlane Drive where the man claimed to have started the fire. After an investigation, the man was taken into custody and the fire is now considered a case of arson.
