Louise ISD is searching for a new superintendent while dealing with a criminal investigation and a public information request. An interim superintendent is in place for the rest of the school term. The previous superintendent, Garth Oliver, was fired and then retired, costing taxpayers about $175,000. A Houston firm is conducting the superintendent search.
