The Audubon Society

The Audubon Society finished checking on coastal bird populations and found a worrying drop in numbers at Matagorda Bay. They discovered that half of the bird species that used to nest there are gone. The group, which works to protect birds, thinks the decline might be due to invasive plants and trash in the area.
