Pilot Point Steel has revived Henderson Fabrication in Bay City after buying the bankrupt property in November. The facility, renamed Bay City Steel, rehired 12 former employees and aims to restore its glory. General Manager Chad Bludau presented to Bay City Council plans to hire up to 25 employees and make the shop self-sustaining. Despite financial struggles under previous ownership, the shop is set to re-emerge as an essential community business, continuing its legacy of excellence in the steel industry.
