Pyle New Chief

Longtime Edna resident Kenneth Pyle, a senior detective from the Port Lavaca Police Department, has been named Edna’s new police chief. Pyle will replace Rick Boone, who was elected Jackson County Sheriff in November. The two are collaborating this month to ensure a smooth transition before Boone takes office in January. Pyle brings over two decades of law enforcement experience, local ties, and a vision for the department’s future. Pyle expressed his dedication to Edna, where he’s lived with his family for more than 20 years.
