Shaping the City’s Future

El Campo is planning for the next 10-20 years and wants locals involved in shaping the city’s future. As part of a $300,000 grant-funded project, the city seeks input on transportation, land use, downtown revitalization, and economic growth. Residents can complete a survey and use an interactive map to highlight specific concerns. Public meetings will be held through next year. A 14-member advisory committee is already reviewing suggestions. The project, last updated in ’17, is funded by the Texas General Land Office.
