El Campo police are investigating a stabbing that took place on Sue Street early last week. A 51-year-old man was flown to Houston’s Memorial Hermann Hospital by LifeFlight and remains in critical but stable condition. Police say the man’s wife was involved in the disturbance but is not a suspect. A video of the incident has been circulating locally, but police are withholding comments until all parties are interviewed. Authorities are asking for any witnesses to contact the El Campo Police Department.
