Amari Franklin, 20, was identified as the victim of a shooting on Allendale Street in Victoria. On Friday, August 30, around 5:00 p.m., police responded to the scene where Franklin had been shot. EMS treated him on-site before rushing him to a local hospital, where he later died. Authorities believe this was an isolated incident and confirmed there’s no ongoing threat to public safety. The investigation continues.
