A 38-year-old man, Roscoe Moore III, has been released from Matagorda County Jail after posting a $75,000 bond. He’s accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting his girlfriend’s underage daughter in Bay City. The abuse allegedly began in February and continued until May, occurring while the girl’s mother was at work. The victim, who was 12 when the assaults started, provided detailed statements to the police.
