A Palacios man, William Carl Hansen, 33, faces up to 10 years in prison after a Wharton County Grand Jury indicted him for a May head-on crash in Danevang. Hansen is charged with intoxication assault and possession of controlled substances. He allegedly tried to pass a school bus, hitting a pregnant woman’s car. She was seriously injured and taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital. Hansen was arrested and remains in custody.
