Voters have given their support

Great news for Fort Bend ISD. Voters have given their support to all three propositions in the $1.26 Billion dollar bond. Proposition A, which covers construction, security, and other projects, including new schools, got 65.66% of the vote. Proposition B for computer upgrades received 66.62% support, while Proposition C, for a new natatorium, got 56.67%. The district will start planning its next steps immediately, including strategic planning for the next eight to 10 years. The approval of the bond will cost the average homeowner an extra $2.50 a month on an average home valued at $300,000.
