Support for crime victims

Bay City Mayor Robert Nelson has shown his support for crime victims by signing and reading a proclamation during National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, which runs thru April 29th. The initiative, created by the US Department of Justice, aims to raise awareness about the importance of crime survivors coming forward and using their voices. This year’s theme is “Survivor Voices,” calling upon communities to create a safe environment for survivors to be heard, believed, and supported.
