In Victoria, 55-year-old Terri Ellis was sentenced to probation after pleading guilty to 11 counts of felony animal cruelty. She can’t run any animal-related businesses or volunteer with animals. Police found dead animals on her property in December 2022. Ellis also has to give up any stake in such businesses and can’t own or care for animals.
