In El Campo, a woman is facing new charges for the death of a toddler she was babysitting. Angle Nicole Castro, 29, is accused of killing 19-month-old Roselynn Coates in January ’21. The child was found unresponsive and later pronounced dead. Castro will go to court in September. Castro, who’s out on bond, has been barred from childcare work. The trial is set, and no plea deal seems likely.
