On Tuesday, the Victoria City Council adopted new codes of conduct for elected and appointed officials. Mayor Duane Crocker stated these codes ensure public meetings are conducted transparently and lawfully. Developed since fall 2023, the codes promote good conduct, integrity, and respect for city processes. Amendments include clarifying officials’ freedom of expression and communication with staff.
