Former Victoria Mayor Jeff Bauknight and former Jackson County Sheriff A.J. Louderback will compete in the May 28 primary runoff for Texas House District 30. Incumbent Geanie W. Morrison is not seeking reelection. Early voting is May 20-24, with polling in Bay City and Palacios. The district includes Matagorda, Victoria, Jackson, Lavaca, DeWitt, and Goliad counties.
