In Gonzales, a 10 year boy admitted to the accidental shooting of a man, Brandon Rasberry, in 2022. The boy, then 7, took a gun from his grandfather’s truck and shot Rasberry while he slept. No charges will be filed due to the boy’s age at the time. The incident came to light after the boy made a threat at school and mentioned the past event.
