Hundreds of students from El Campo, Wharton, East Bernard, and Rice Consolidated schools gathered at Ricebird Stadium for the annual Special Olympics. The event, filled with various fun competitions from soccer kicks to Frisbee toss and golf ball putting. The Special Education program of El Campo, in cooperation with Rice CISD, was recognized as a Unified District by the Special Olympics program, providing unique opportunities for Special Education students.
