The Arbuckle Reservoir is almost ready! By May, it’ll start filling up slowly. They’ll test it at 40%, then 60%, and back to 40% to check for leaks. If all’s good, by August or September, it’ll be fully operational. It’ll store a lot of water and help downstream areas like Matagorda County. It’s bigger than Marble Falls, Austin, and Lady Bird lakes combined. It won’t be for swimming or boating though.
