Bay City’s Fire Marshal, Dan Shook, is raising funds for a new paging system to improve communication among 11 fire departments in Matagorda County. The new system will be more efficient, reduce costs, and help prevent errors that could slow down emergency responses. So far, $30,000 of the needed $50,000 has been raised.
