The Fort Bend County District Attorney has announced that a man has been given a 55-year prison sentence for the fatal shooting of a store clerk during a robbery in Sugar Land back in 2019. Treveon James Young shot 63-year-old Hamid Lakhani at the WB Food Mart. Police were called to the scene and found Lakhani with a gunshot wound, and sadly he died at the hospital. Young was identified, along with three other suspects, through license plate reader technology. Kameryn James, the getaway driver, was sentenced to 15 years, and the other two suspects, who were juveniles, were sentenced to 18-20 years.
