After almost a week of retirement, Becky Miska, the former city secretary for the City of Edna, has begun a new job as the city administrator/secretary of Goliad. Miska, who served Edna for 28 years, was not ready to retire yet and was drawn to Goliad’s downtown charm and the fact that her family lives in town. She began her new job on Feb. 1st and is eager to be visible in the community, introducing herself to locals and hoping to become a part of the community like she was in Edna.
