Emergency crews responded to a large commercial fire. The Wharton County Constable’s Office – Precinct 2 – said on Facebook that a large commercial fire with chemicals involved was ongoing in the 2900 Blk of SH 60 South, south of Wharton with numerous Wharton County Fire Departments. Wharton, Boling, Glen Flora, Hungerford, East Bernard, El Campo, Needville and Bay City VFD’s on scene.
