After two decades serving Matagorda County, Judge Mark Finlay is retiring. He passed the robe to Suzanne Sullivan, chosen by both judges as the best candidate. The council agreed, and she was sworn in during Tuesday night’s Bay City Council meeting. Sullivan will officially start her new role on January 1st.
