A fire investigation is underway after two RVs caught fire. In the early morning hours of Saturday, Feb.18th, the vacant RV caught fire first and spread to the occupied one. Thankfully, a passerby alerted the occupants who escaped unharmed. The cause of the fire is unknown, but there’s no indication of criminal activity. Both RVs were destroyed. Deputies with the Matagorda County Sheriff’s Office and the Sargent Fire Department responded after 11 minutes and found both RVs engulfed in flames. No injuries were reported
