The Bay City campus of Wharton County Junior College is expanding to offer practical courses like carpentry, plumbing, and more. This growth is possible thanks to a $2 million boost from Senator Joan Huffman. The college is excited to start with carpentry classes and plans to add more trades soon. They plan to start classes next spring.
