The Spectator reports that local county and city officials, area businessmen, and interested residents will head to Austin next Tuesday the 28th for Wharton County Day at the Capital. This event provides local residents
the opportunity to meet, greet, and connect with state legislators so we can better understand the important issues facing Wharton County. The bus will leave the El Campo Civic Center parking lot bright and early. The entire trip is free of charge and 70 to 80 people are expected to make the trip.
