The City of El Campo posted on its social page that the 2023 Kidfish hosted by the city will be happening on Saturday, March 18th at Legacy Pond. The event from 8am to noon is free and kids ages 2 to 15 years old get a free t-shirt for attending. The limit is 5 catfish per entrant with a 12 inch minimum, and prizes will be awarded for biggest fish and youngest fisher. Registration is on site and no pre-registration is required. Refreshment trailers will also be on site.
