A man from Wadsworth crashed into a police car while drunk. The incident happened on Avenue F. Bay City officer Tim Helton wasn’t hurt, but the truck’s tail light got damaged. The driver, Kyle Novak, admitted to drinking and failed a sobriety test. He refused a blood test but a warrant was obtained. A gun was found in his car. Novak was arrested for DWI and carrying a weapon. He was later released.
