City crews have been busy trimming trees in parks and along roads for safety, while volunteers have been planting new trees in Friendship Park. They’ve planted a mix of Live Oak, Crepe Myrtles, and Palo Verde trees. This effort is to replace trees lost to freezes and droughts. Donations from various groups have helped, and the park’s crew is dedicated to keeping the new plants watered and healthy.
