The Bernard Creek solar project in Wharton County is a key part of WestRock’s renewable energy strategy. This project, which is expected to be completed in the first half of next year, will generate 207 Mega Watts of power. It’s not just about energy, though. The project is also expected to create more than 250 jobs during construction and generate more than $45 million in revenue for Wharton County over its lifespan.
