Wildfires burning

A wildfire burning in north Texas continues to burn and grow. The AP said the Chalk Mountain Fire, burning about 50 miles southwest of Fort Worth, had burned 6,000 acres by Tuesday afternoon. The fire started Monday afternoon. A dozen structures had been lost by Tuesday afternoon. Crews also were working a wildifre around Possum Kingdom Lake about 70 miles west of Fort Worth, which started on Monday afternoon. No injuries have been reported from the fires, and no word yet on a cause of either fire. The causes are under investigation.
