El Campo Community Events has provided an annual Community Wide Thanksgiving Dinner through adversity as difficult as a nationwide pandemic, and they plan to do it again this year their 24th year of service to the
residents of El Campo. Although the recent COVID-19 pandemic changed the way things were done at the
annual event, it didn’t stop the 130 volunteers from dishing out more than 1,750 plates last year, and the group hopes to serve up even more this year. They are soliciting donations to make this year a success, and they could use some volunteers to help out and bring some desserts.
