A former El Campo High School athletic trainer is back in Wharton County to face charges. Police say 26-year-old Shamond Hamilton was arrested at his new job in the Garland school district and brought to the county jail on a $50,000 bond. He is accused of inappropriate contact with a 16-year-old girl at a private location in El Campo. Investigators say the incident did not happen on school grounds. Hamilton resigned from El Campo ISD last school year and moved to North Garland High School.
