The Pilot Club of Wharton marks 50 years of community service today at the Wharton County Historical Museum. Founded in ’75, the club has dedicated itself to youth development, brain safety, and helping families in need. The celebration begins at 5:30 p.m. with a ribbon-cutting and honors past Texas District Governor Krista Spano. The Wharton club is part of a larger network, including a chapter in nearby El Campo, all focused on volunteerism and local support.
