Scott Kana, a retired principal, was asked to be an interim principal at Edna High School for a few months, but he ended up staying for six years because of the wonderful students, teachers, and community support. However, he has now decided to retire for good. During his time as principal, he achieved great academic success, second place in the academic UIL meet, and recognition from the college board for their students’ scores. As he embraces retirement, he plans to spend time with his family.
