Wharton County Commissioners unanimously approved several measures at their recent session. These included improvements to the recycling center, a decrease in the speed limit on a county road, and the abandonment of another road stretch. Commissioner Bud Graves announced an increased grant of $25,000 for the recycling center, which will be used to purchase new boxes and work on the fence. The court also voted to reduce the speed limit on CR 150 from 50 to 30 mph.
