Police capture third suspect

Wharton police have captured the third suspect in the Riverbend Apartments shooting, where a nine-year-old boy was shot in the back and 12 others were endangered. The incident occurred during a violent exchange of gunfire in a parking lot on Junior College Blvd. in June of last year. J’Kyriahn Holloway, who was 18 at the time, was also injured but is believed to be one of the shooters. Holloway admitted his involvement while receiving treatment at OakBend ER. The police have arrested two additional individuals, though the motive behind the shootout remains unknown.
