The Council didn’t ban RVs in neighborhoods Monday night, but they’re taking steps to restrict parking. An ordinance is expected in a month, regulating where RVs can be parked when not in use and prohibiting their use as permanent dwellings. RVs aren’t allowed on public streets or at businesses, except for loading and unloading. Home parking rules include no water/sewer connections and clear visibility. The Council voted 5-1 to research the ordinance. Parking RVs horizontally in front of homes was discussed.
