In Wharton County, thieves stole a Kubota tractor with a front-end loader and shredder from a property just north of El Campo’s city limits back in early November. Sheriff’s deputies are investigating and ask anyone with tips to come forward. The bright orange tractor was possibly spotted later at the El Campo Inn, and it might have been traveling with a dark green four-wheeler. If you saw anything suspicious, contact the Wharton County Sheriff’s Office right away.
