El Campo residents will get a first look at the city’s future plans this Thursday evening. A public meeting starts at 5:30 at the El Campo Civic Center, where officials will present a draft of the city’s updated Comprehensive Plan. The short presentation will be followed by open discussion for residents to share ideas and priorities. The plan outlines long-term goals for roads, parks, zoning, and growth, shaping how El Campo develops over the next decade. The $300,000 update, last done in 2017, is funded through a state grant.
