Bay City’s food scene will take center stage at the Matagorda County Museum’s “Gourmet Guys” fundraiser on Saturday. This annual event invites chefs, home cooks, and food lovers to serve up their best dishes, whether from restaurants, food trucks, or their own kitchens. Leading up to the big day, organizers are celebrating regional flavors like Utah fry sauce and funeral potatoes, Vermont maple treats, and Virginia’s Chesapeake Bay seafood. The tasting will raise funds to preserve local history at the museum.
